SUPPLIES LIST
Since you’ll be renting the lower house we’re moving out of, I wanted to give you a clear idea of what will remain in the house during your stay, as well as what will not be included. That way, you can make informed decisions about anything you may need to purchase and, ideally, choose items you can later take with you once your new home is ready!
To keep things as easy as possible for you, anything I already have two of, I’m leaving one for you to use during your stay. But, since you’ll only be paying the same rent we currently pay, though, I’m just not able to purchase additional extras specifically for the house.
That said, lists are my love language, so I’ve also included links to items I already own and know work well! Most are things I’ve been using either at the Airbnb or in our new house (or Leah has used for her houses), so they are recommendations based on actual use rather than guesswork. Also, If you want to go ahead and ship things to the house, I’ll start putting them inside for you. My Mom is here right now, so somoene is there daily to collect packages!

Obviously everyone is different. Maybe you don’t need the stuff I linked, I just linked it in case you’d rather order ahead that way you have!
A quick note about the mattresses: one of them belonged to us and is still there. It is very comfortable.
The second mattress came from Fabrizio’s house. We removed the plastic covering and cleaned it thoroughly, and it appears to be relatively new. Since we only used one bed while we lived in the house, though, I cannot personally speak to how comfortable it is. From what I can tell, it is not the softest mattress.
Having said that: I usually add a pillow-top mattress topper to all of my beds anyway (both at home and at the Airbnb). It make the mattresses last much longerI’ve included a list of the ones I regularly reorder and know work well, in case you would like to add one. Both beds are ‘matrimonial’ standard - which is the Average bed in Italy: 160 × 200CM, but i often buy the foam toppers 200 × 200 so it just gives a bit of extra ‘cush’.
